Letter dated August 1, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Kristi Duarard, 9851 Seltzer Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Candy Little #WS 6402 09/23 RESOLVE, that the Water and Sewer Board does deny and will take no further action on the request of the above customer, due to the fact that they did not appear at the September 11, 2023 meeting. Letter dated August 28, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Brent Staggs, 11498 Cardwell Motioned by Candy Little seconded by Valerie Jackson #WS 6403 09/23 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Staggs the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective September 11, 2023 a Fifteen (15) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be assigned to the 2023 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account is in good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan agreement. A roll call vote was taken: AYES: Gierak, Skaggs, Little, Jackson, Jones NAYS: The Chairman declared the motion carried. 4. Letter dated August 23, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Carla Miller, 15345 Green Lane Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Candy Little #WS 6404 09/23 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms. Miller the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective September 11, 2023 a Twelve (12) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. At the request of the petitioner, the account at 15345 Green Lane will be put on a “payment plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings from now on. During the Twelve (12) month payment plan, each monthly bill is to be paid in full and on time. Letter dated July 31, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Drew Zuhlke, 16919 Renwick Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Valerie Jackson #WS 6405 09/23 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Zuhlke the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective September 11, 2023 a Twelve (12) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. Letter dated August 15, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Douglas Adam, 18984 Filmore Motioned by Valerie Jackson seconded by Candy Little #WS 6406 09/23 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Adam the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective September 11, 2023 a Twelve (12) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. Letter dated July 12, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Neil Page, 19604 Farmington Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Valerie Jackson #WS 6407 09/23 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Page the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective September 11, 2023 a Twelve (12) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. The Board does also hereby grant the removal of the penalty dated July 13, 2023 in the amount of $453.29. Letter dated August 1, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Robert Selby, 29142 Pickford Motioned by Greg Jones seconded by Candy Little #WS 6408 09/23 RESOLVE, that the Water and Sewer Board does deny and will take no further action on the request of the above customer, due to the fact that they did not appear at the September 11, 2023 meeting. Letter dated August 28, 2023 from Superintendent of Public Service, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Louis Maradiegue, 31408 Scone Motioned by Candy Little seconded by Rich Skaggs #WS 6411 09/23 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Mr. Maradiegue the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective September 11, 2023 a Twelve (12) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. The next meeting of the Water and Sewer Board is scheduled for Monday, October 2, 2023 at 5:00pm. Upon a motion by Greg Jones, seconded by Valerie Jackson, the meeting was adjourned at 6:010pm.
