Initially, Councilman Scott Morgan inquired with the Traffic Bureau if a “No Truck” sign could be installed
on Adams Court, South of Plymouth Road. Present on behalf of Councilman Morgan was resident Eric
Rubner. Eric reported that several delivery semi trucks and other oversized vehicles have recently tried
to navigate turns on their dead end street and have caused damage to the cul de sac, mailboxes, fire
hydrant, and vehicles.
After brief discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Wrenbeck to add a “No Truck” (R5-2) with

A request from the Mayor’s Office was received requesting the stretch of Six Mile between Merriman and
Middlebelt Roads to have deer crossing signs installed. Wayne County owns this stretch of the road and
therefore such signage would be their responsibility to install. This request was forwarded to the Traffic
Management Department for Wayne County. Chairman Policelli did respond to the requesting party.
Sgt. Also noted that within the entire city limits, the reported car vs. deer crashes in 2024, of the 70

Commission will take no further action.
Agenda Item 4: Levan/Hoover School Crosswalk (ongoing discussion)

the crosswalk in front of Hoover School. Commissioner Katers graciously reported on the proposed pain
markings that were discussed in prior meetings. He also shared some professional data on the best
practices that the commission considered, of which helped formulate the proposed paint marking areas.
Further, Todd Zilincik noted that there was a request for proposal and an independent study of the area
in question from Hubbell, Roth, and Clark. Those results should be completed by the February
Commission Meeting.
