Approval of Minutes dated January 6, 2025 Motioned by Candy Little ,seconded by Valerie Jackson #WS 6753 02/25 RESOLVED, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 6, 2025 are hereby approved. Letter dated January 28, 2025 from Superintendent of Public Works, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Charles Greenwood, 12280 Cavell Motioned by Rich Skaggs, seconded by Candy Little #WS 6754 02/25 RESOLVE, that the Water and Sewer Board does deny and will take no further action on the request of the above customer, due to the fact that they did not appear at the February 3, 2025 meeting. Letter dated November 16, 2024 from Superintendent of Public Works, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Ali Al-Saltane, 17141 Ellen Motioned by Rich Skaggs, seconded by Candy Little #WS 6755 02/25 RESOLVE, that the Water and Sewer Board does deny and will take no further action on the request of the above customer, due to the fact that they did not appear at the February 3, 2025 meeting. A roll call vote was taken: AYES: Gierak, Skaggs, Little, Jackson, Jones NAYS: The Chairman declared the motion carried. 4. Letter dated January 14, 2025 from Superintendent of Public Works, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Simon Chackunkal, 20086 Irving Motioned by Rich Skaggs, seconded by Candy Little #WS 6756 02/25 RESOLVE, that the Water and Sewer Board does deny and will take no further action on the request of the above customer, due to the fact that they did not appear at the February 3, 2025 meeting. A roll call vote was taken: AYES: Gierak, Skaggs, Little, Jackson, Jones NAYS: The Chairman declared the motion carried. 5. Letter dated January 28, 2025 from Superintendent of Public Works, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Behniwal Kulwinder, 14474 Harrison Motioned by Candy Little, seconded by Rich Skaggs #WS 6757 02/25 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms.Kulwinder the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective February 3, 2025 a Twenty-four (24) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. REGULAR MEETING WATER & SEWER BOARD February 3, 2025 At the request of the petitioner, the account at 14474 Harrison will be put on a “payment plan”, whereby the account will receive monthly versus quarterly billings from now on. If required, an M2 reading device will be installed at the residence within the next thirty days. During the Twenty-four (24) month payment plan, each monthly bill is to be paid in full and on time. Additionally, the Board requests that the outstanding balance that would be assigned to the 20205 and 2026 Winter taxes not be consigned, provided the account is in good standing and meeting their obligations if under a payment plan agreement. A roll call vote was taken: AYES: Gierak, Skaggs, Little, Jackson, Jones NAYS: The Chairman declared the motion carried. 6. Letter dated January 28, 2025 from Superintendent of Public Works, Subject: Request for Consideration of Bill - Julie Leff, 32112 Pembroke Motioned by Greg Jones, seconded by Valerie Jackson #WS 6758 02/25 RESOLVE, that after discussion with Ms. Leff the Water and Sewer Board does hereby grant effective February 3, 2025 a Six (6) month extension at the end of which the account will have a zero balance, including all new bills generated during that time. All late fees will be held in abeyance during this time, with the understanding that if the balance is not paid by the expiration date of this extension, all such late fees held in abeyance, plus any additional fees incurred for nonpayment will be returned to the account. The Board does also hereby grant the removal of the penalty dated January 15, 2025 in the amount of $101.80. A roll call vote was taken: AYES: Gierak, Jackson, Jones NAYS: Little, Skaggs The Chairman declared the motion carried.
