REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED PROPERTY: David S. Lent, re: the lot located at 36413 Parkdale in Shaffmaster’s Parkside Estates, which is adjacent to property he currently owns. (Tax Parcel No. 46-126-03-0015-000) 2. REQUEST TO APPROVE LOCATION AND SCHEDULE OF DATES AND TIMES FOR THE 2011 BOARD OF REVIEW MEETINGS, AS WELL AS COMPENSATION RATES FOR MEMBERS. Department of Assessment, re: per the requirements of State statute M.S.A. 7.30 and Act 149 of 1984. 3. REQUEST TO DESIGNATE CONSULTANT, THROUGH THE QUALIFICATION- BASED SELECTION (QBS) PROCESS, TO PROVIDE DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division, re: for traffic signal modernizations at Six Mile Road and Farmington Road, Seven Mile Road and Farmington Road, and Six Mile Road and Haggerty Road, with the breakdown of costs at 80% Federal and 20% City of Livonia. 4. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE SETTLEMENT: Department of Law, re: for injuries sustained by Mr. Daryl Reddick while riding his bicycle on City-owned sidewalk on W. Eight Mile Road. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, Department of Law, re: to add Chapter 42 (Installation and Maintenance of Grease Interceptors; Discharge Prohibitions) to Title 13 to ensure the proper capture and disposal of fats, oils and grease (“FOG”) rather than being disposed of in the sanitary sewer systems. First Reading given by Councilmember Brosnan on January 12, 2011. Agenda for the Regular Meeting of January 26, 2011 2 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 6. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, Department of Law, re: to Section 380 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for enforcement of the prohibition on discharging hazardous waste into the City sewers. First Reading given by Councilmember Brosnan on January 12, 2011. 7. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended, Department of Law, re: Petition 2010-07-06-01 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution 425-10 and Section 23.01(a) of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to amend Subsections (b) and (d) of Section 18.42A of Article XVIII (Wireless Communication Facilities) to better ensure that operators and colocators do not have radio frequency (RF) energy emissions or other detrimental field output and to require colocators and operators to notify the Inspection Department of changes in ownership and contact information. First Reading given by Councilmember Meakin on January 12, 2011. 8. REQUEST TO APPROVE RENTAL ADJUSTMENTS FOR CITY-OWNED SCATTERED SITE PROPERTIES: Housing Commission, re: to become effective March 1, 2011, to cover the rising cost of ongoing necessary improvements and to provide for future capital improvements. (CR 13-10) 9. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO SELL CITY-OWNED PROPERTY PURCHASED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT’S $1.00 HOME PROGRAM: Livonia Housing Commission, re: located at 18660 Floral for a total sale price of $60,000.00. (CR 518-08) 10. REQUEST TO DESIGNATE AN ALTERNATE TO SERVE ON THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS: Christopher Martin, re: due to the petitioners’ option to reschedule their case in the absence of a Board Member. NEW BUSINESS 11. REQUEST FOR DESIGNATION AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION: Dale Coller, President, Livonia Rotary Charitable Foundation, Inc., re: as required by the State of Michigan to obtain a Charitable Gaming License to allow them to host a reverse raffle event to raise funds for their organization. 12. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Angela Hospice Home Care, Inc. in connection with the development of a new onsite water main at 14100 Newburgh Road, in the Southwest ¼ of Section 20.
