CONSENT AGENDA 1. BLOCK PARTY: Kathleen A. Fitzgerald, re: to be held Monday, May 30, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Cranston, between Elmira and Orangelawn, with no rain date requested. 2. APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE THERAPIST PERMIT: Office of the City Clerk, re: submitted by Shannon L. Ferguson in accordance with Chapter 5.49 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended. ND 3. REQUEST FOR THE CITY TO CO-SPONSOR THE 32 ANNUAL 2012 BEN CELANI GOLF DAY BENEFIT TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2012; REQUEST TO DESIGNATE HEARTS OF LIVONIA AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION; AND REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE USE OF THE WHISPERING WILLOWS AND FOX CREEK GOLF COURSES FOR THE OUTING: Tom Celani, President, Hearts of Livonia, re: same. 4. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE PATROL VEHICLES UTILIZING STATE OF MICHIGAN AND MACOMB COUNTY CONSORTIUM BID PRICING: Division of Police, re: for six (6) marked scheduled-replacement patrol vehicles and seven (7) unmarked scheduled-replacement undercover vehicles utilizing General and Drug Forfeiture Funds. 5. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Water and Sewer Board, re: to the two (2) lowest bidders for the 2011 Sanitary Sewer Closed Circuit Televising Program (Contract 11-L) to ensure completion by early May in an effort to take advantage of Sewer Revolving Fund (SRF) low interest loans and possibly S2 grant funding, which would cover 90% of the costs necessary to prepare and submit a project plan that would identify areas for recommended improvements. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, Department of Law, re: to Sections 120, 130, 140, 190 and 220 of Title 3, Chapter 04 (Financial Procedures), regarding contracts that require Council approval. First Reading given by Councilmember Toy on March 23, 2011. 7. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, Department of Law, re: to Sections 030 and 050 of Title 3, Chapter 06 (Cost Recovery), regarding costs associated with an emergency response. First Reading given by Councilmember Meakin on March 23, 2011. 8. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, Department of Law, re: the proposed repeal of Chapters 5.18 (Coke and Coal Business), 5.21 (Drive-in Theatres) and 5.93 (Weights and Measures), which are obsolete or no longer viable enterprises. First Reading given by Councilmember Pastor on March 23, 2011. NEW BUSINESS 9. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: from Livonia Goodfellows in the amount of $300.00 to be used for the purposes as designated by the donor. 10. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: from Allstate Insurance in the amount of $1,000 to be used for the purposes as designated by the donor. 11. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Livonia Phoenix, LLC, in connection with the development of a sanitary sewer constructed at the Livonia Marketplace at Seven Mile and Middlebelt Roads, in the Southeast ¼ of Section 2. 12. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Livonia Phoenix, LLC, in connection with the development of a water main constructed at the Livonia Marketplace at Seven Mile and Middlebelt Roads, in the Southeast ¼ of Section 2.
