Communication from the Department of Finance, dated July 20, 2011, re: forwarding
various financial statements of the City of Livonia for the month ending June 30, 2011.

1. BLOCK PARTY: Doug Kieselbach, re: to be held on Saturday, September 10,
2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Minton, between Merriman Road and
Sunset, with a rain date requested of Saturday, September 17, 2011.
2. APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE THERAPIST PERMIT: Office of the City Clerk,
re: submitted by Laura George in accordance with Chapter 5.49 of the Livonia

Clerk, re: submitted by Tao Song in accordance with Chapter 5.49 of the Livonia
Code of Ordinances, as amended.
8. APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE APPRENTICE PERMIT: Office of the City
Clerk, re: submitted by Amber Lucas in accordance with Chapter 5.49 of the
Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
9. REQUEST FROM THE MICHIGAN LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION TO
INVESTIGATE THE REQUEST FROM UNIVERSAL ADVISORS, LLC, TO
TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF A 2010 CLASS C LICENSED BUSINESS WITH
OUTDOOR SERVICE (1 AREA), DANCE-ENTERTAINMENT PERMIT,
OFFICIAL PERMIT (FOOD) AND 3 BARS: Division of Police, re: for the
business located at 36071 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150.
10. PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF TAX-FORECLOSED PROPERTY: Livonia
Housing Commission, re: to acquire one (1) house (27621 Pembroke) for a total
of $8,915.82, which includes closing costs, through the Community Development
Block Grant Program.

11. REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A FINANCE, BUDGET AND TECHNOLOGY
COMMITTEE MEETING AND TO ESTABLISH A PUBLIC HEARING DATE:
Department of Finance, re: for the Annual Budget for the fiscal year ending
November 30, 2012.
12. REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTION 52-11: Department of Law, re:
to include verbiage in the resolution that approved an Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate for Quality Metalcraft, Inc. at the Regular Meeting of
February 23, 2011, that is now required by the State of Michigan Department of
Treasury.
13. REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTION 151-11: Department of Law,
re: to include verbiage in the resolution that approved an Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate for Linear Mold & Engineering, Inc. at the Regular Meeting
of May 11, 2011, that is now required by the State of Michigan Department of
Treasury.
