RE APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE
AND THE TRANSFER OF A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED
INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE
On Monday, August 15, 2011, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President
McCann at 7 02 p m Present: Conrad Schwartz, Brian Meakin, Maureen Miller
Brosnan and James McCann Absent. John Pastor, Joe Laura and Laura Toy
Council President McCann stated that this was a Public Hearing regarding an
application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate submitted Lynn A. Gandhi,
Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, LLP, on behalf of Tina Ding, President of Leapers
Inc., is requesting approval of an Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate for the
purchase of new equipment and machinery for their facility to be located at 32500
Capitol Street, Livonia, MI 48150, as well as for the transfer of a previously approved
Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate from 32700 Capitol Street to 32500 Capitol
Street. (Industrial Development Overlay District#110)
There were three (3) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the
Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 20 p m , on Monday, August 15,
2011
