HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2003-09-03 IFEC FORD MOTOR 34248 PUBLIC HEARING RE: APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE, SUBMITTED BY FORD MOTOR CO FOR THE FACILITY LOCATED AT 36200 PLYMOUTH ROAD [345-03] On Wednesday, September 3, 2003, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot, Gerald Taylor and Jack Engebretson Absent: Linda Dolan, Joe Laura and Maureen Miller Brosnan Council President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on the question whether to approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate submitted by Ford Motor Company for the acquisition and installation of new machinery and equipment for the production of 6-speed automatic transmissions as a replacement for current 4-speed and 5-speed products and the acquisition and installation of new machinery and equipment to upgrade the current 4R70 transmission and the 4R75 transmission at the Livonia Transmission Plan located at 36200 Plymouth Road, within City of Livonia Industrial Development District No 1 There were nine (9) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk. 34249 The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 25 p m , on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 -- JOAN, cCOTTER, CITY CLERK
