HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2003-02-24 PETITION 2002-10-01-15 33942 PETITION 2002-10-01-15, SUBMITTED BY TONI ALOE AND CHARLES SERGISON, ON BEHALF OF TACS, L.L.0 , FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14881 AND 14891 FARMINGTON ROAD, ON THE WEST SIDE OF FARMINGTON ROAD BETWEEN LYNDON AVENUE AND FIVE MILE ROAD IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 21 FROM R-2 TO OS (ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL — 70' X 120' LOTS TO OFFICE SERVICES) [CR 17-03] On Monday, February 24, 2003, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot, Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura (arrived at 7 16 p m ) Maureen Miller Brosnan (arrived at 7 01 p m ) and Jack Engebretson Absent: None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to rezoning request: 33943 Petition 2002-10-01-15 submitted by Toni Aloe and Charles Sergison, on behalf of TACS, LLC , for a change of zoning of property located at 14881 and 14891 Farmington Road, on the west side of Farmington Road between a,,,, Lyndon Avenue and Five Mile Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 21 from R-2 (One Family Residential — 70' x 120' Lots) to OS (Office Services) There were five (5) individuals present in the audience on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
