HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1999-08-23 PETITION 1999-05-06-02 31810 PETITION 99-5-6-2 BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION, PURSUANT TO SECTION 23.01(b) OF ORDINANCE #543, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA, AS AMENDED, TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT TO AMEND SECTIONS 10.03 AND 11.03 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO SET FORTH CONTROLS WITH RESPECT TO CUSTOMER ACCESSIBILITY TO THE TYPES OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED FOR SALE IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF AN SDD LICENSE. (CR 456-99) On August 23, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at 7 05 p m. Present: Joe Laura, Maureen Miller Brosnan, John Pastor, Brian Duggan and Jack Engebretson Absent: John Walsh and Val Vandersloot. Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen(15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C LA. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to amend Sections 10 03 and 11 03 of the Zoning Ordinance to set forth controls with respect to customer accessibility to the types of alcoholic beverages allowed for sale in connection with use of an SDD license There was one (1) person present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
