MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REQUEST TO
ESTABLISH AN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT BY
STORCH MAGNETICS (a Division of Storch Products Co. Inc.)
FOR EXPANSION OF THEIR BUILDING AND THE PURCHASE
OF NEW EQUIPMENT FOR THEIR MANUFACTURING
FACILITY LOCATED AT 11827 GLOBE ROAD

On October 4, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Vice President Walsh at 7 00
p m Present: Maureen Miller Brosnan and John Walsh Absent: Val Vandersloot,
John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura and Jack Engebretson.
Vice President Walsh stated that this was a public hearing on the question of
whether this City Council should approve the Application for Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate for Storch Magnetics (a Division of Storch Products Co Inc.) for
expansion of their building and the purchase of new equipment for their manufacturing
facility located at 11827 Globe Road, encompassing an area of approximately 1 58
acres lying in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 29, hereinafter referred to as "proposed City of
Livonia Industrial Development District 76"
There was one (1) person present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 09 p m , Monday, October 4, 1999
