HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1999-10-11 PETITION 1999-0-01-05 31903 PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 99-5-1-5 BY C & J FUTURISTIC, INC., PROPOSING TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FARMINGTON ROAD BETWEEN EIGHT MILE ROAD AND NORFOLK AVENUE IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 4, FROM RUFA TO RC (Rural Urban Farm to Condominium Residential District) On October 11, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at 7 15 p m Present: Val Vandersloot, John Pastor, Brian Duggan and Jack Engebretson Absent: John Walsh, Joe Laura and Maureen Miller Brosnan. Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen(15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to request to rezone property located on the west side of Farmington Road between Eight Mile Road and Norfolk Avenue in the Northeast % of Section 4, from RUFA to RC (Rural Urban Farm to Condominium Residential District) There was no audience present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
