HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1999-11-08 IDD 78 31963 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: REQUEST FROM MASCOTECH FORMING TECHNOLOGIES-LIVONIA, A DIVISION OF MASCOTECH, INC., ALSO KNOWN AS HI-VOL PRODUCTS, INC., DATED AUGUST 25, 1999, PROPOSING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO REHABILITATE ITS MANUFACTURING FACILITY LOCATED AT 12955 INKSTER ROAD, IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 25, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "PROPOSED CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 78". On November 8, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at 7 18 p m. Present: John Walsh, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Maureen Miller Brosnan, and Jack Engebretson Absent: Joe Laura and Val Vandersloot. President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether this City Council should approve the request from MascoTech Forming Technologies-Livonia proposing the establishment of an Industrial Development District to rehabilitate its manufacturing facility located at 12955 Inkster Road, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 5, hereinafter referred to as "proposed City of Livonia Industrial Development District No 78" There were five (5) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
