HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1999-03-22 PETITION 1998-11-01-21 31513 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On March 22, 1999, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Val Vandersloot, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Maureen Miller-Brosnan and Jack Engebretson. Absent: John J Walsh. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen(15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance PETITION 98-11-1-21 by Steak N Shake, Inc. requesting to rezone property located on the east side of Middlebelt Road, north of Six Mile Road, in the Southwest % of Section 12 from AG and C-1 to C-2 (General Agricultural and Local Business to General Business) (CR 70-99) PETITION 98-11-1-22 by Leo Soave requesting to rezone property located on the east side of Levan Road between Plymouth Road and Elmira Avenue in the Northeast % of Section 32 from C-2 to R-1 (General Business to One Family Residential —60' x 120' Lots) (CR 70-99) PETITION 99-1-1-1 by Phoenix Land Development requesting to rezone property located on the east side of Farmington Road between Plymouth Road and Capitol Avenue in the Southwest %of Section 27 from C-2 and M-1 to R-8 II (General Business and Light Manufacturing to High Rise Multiple Family Residential —8 Stories) (CR 70-99) There were six (6) persons present on these matters. 31514 Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration L by the Council,la transcript of which is on lfileein the office of,the City Clerk. ch 22, 1999 ic d The Pub Hearing was declared at 943 p m.
