HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1997-08-13 SAD STARK ROAD 30402 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTING ON STARK ROAD BETWEEN SCHOOLCRAFT ROAD AND LYNDON AVENUE IN THE EAST 1/2 OF SECTION 12 On August 13, 1997, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7 04 p m Present: Fernon P Feenstra, Gerald D Taylor and Joe Laura. Absent: Maureen Miller Brosnan, Val Vandersloot, Michael P McGee and Brian Duggan The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the installation of 100 watt high pressure sodium lights on Davitt poles on Stark Road and Lyndon Avenue between Schoolcraft Road and Lyndon Avenue and on Lyndon Avenue between Farmington and Stark Roads (Excludes the area of Stark Road adjacent to the Livonia Family YMCA and Veterans Park previously approved for the installation of three lights under S.A D #387) There was no one present in the audience on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
