MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 97-6-2-15

On September 15, 1997, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 7 12 p m. Present: Val Vandersloot, Gerald D Taylor, Brian Duggan,
Fernon P Feenstra, Maureen Miller Brosnan and Joe Laura Absent: Michael P
McGee
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice of Public
Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance
No 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to Petition 97-6-2-15 by
Rite Aid of Michigan, requesting waiver use approval to transfer SDD (packaged liquor)
Land SDM (beer and wine) licenses to an existing Rite Aid Drug Store located on the
southwest corner of Six Mile and Inkster Roads in the N E. 1/4 of Section 13
There were seven (7) persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 36 p m., September 15, 1997
