MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 97-3-2-9
(WAIVER USE)
On August 13, 1997, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 8.09 p m. Present: Fernon P Feenstra, Michael P McGee, Gerald D Taylor and
Joe Laura. Absent: Maureen Miller Brosnan, Val Vandersloot and Brian Duggan.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to Notice of Public
Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance
No 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing relative to Petition 97-3-2-9 by
Kmart Corporation requesting waiver use approval to utilize an SDM license in
conjunction with an existing store located on the north side of Seven Mile Road
between Farmington Road and Norwich Avenue in the S E. 1/4 of Section 4
There were three (3) persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8*32 p m , August 13, 1997
