tawMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION
On August 9, 1993, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President
Taylor at 7:06 P.M. Present: Fernon P. Feenstra, Michael P. McGee, Sean P.
Kavanagh, and Gerald Taylor. Absent: Dale A. Jurcisin, Ron Ochala and Laura
M. Toy.
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City
Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing
date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
President Taylor stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the
Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934; M.0 L A. 125.584), as well as Article XXIII
of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of
the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change of the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 93-3-1-3, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant
to CR 810-92, for a change of zoning on property located on the south
side of Ann Arbor Road between Patton Avenue and Knolson Avenue in the
S.W. 1/4 of Section 31, from C-1 to OS (Local Business to Office
Services).
Petition 93-3-6-2, submitted by the City Planning Commission to determine
whether to amend Section 18.47 of Zoning Ordinance 543, regarding signs
not needing site plan approval.
There was no one present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the of
the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7:29 p.m. , August 9, 1993.
