HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1993-05-26 PETITION 1991-01-01-02 27657 Ihr MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On May 26, 1993, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Taylor at 7:03 P.M. Present: Michael P. McGee, Sean P. Kavanagh, Ron Ochala, Fernon P. Feenstra and Gerald Taylor. Absent: Laura M. Toy and Dale A. Jurcisin. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. President Taylor stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934; M.C.L.A. 125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 91-1-1-2, submitted by William Roskelly to rezone property located on the east side of Stonehouse Avenue between Joy Road and Minton Avenue in the S.E. 1/4 of Section 31, from PL and RUF to R-1 (Public Lands and Single Family Residential - 1/2 Acre Lot to One Family Residential - 60' X 120' Lot). Petition 92-12-1-28, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 723-92, for a change of zoning on property located on the north side of Puritan Avenue between Henry Ruff and Middlebelt Roads in the N.E. 1/4 of Section 14, from R-1 to RUFA (One Family Residential - 60' X 120' lot to One Family Residential - 1/2 Acre Lot). 27658 Petition 92-12-1-29, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 723-92, for a change of zoning on property located on the south side of Puritan Avenue between Oporto and Middlebelt Roads in the S.E. 1/4 of Section 14, from R-1 to RUF (One Family Residential - 60' X 120' Lot to One Family Residential - 1/2 Acre Lot). There were approximately four persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the of the City Clerk.
