HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1993-02-22 PETITION 1992-10-02-24 27460 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION On February 22, 1993, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Taylor at 8:04 P.M. Present: Fernon P. Feenstra, Michael P. McGee, Sean P Kavanagh and Gerald Taylor. Absent Laura M Toy, Dale A. Jurcisin and Ron Ochala. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. President Taylor stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934; M.0 L A. 125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 92-10-2-24, submitted by William Fried for Kevin Crute and John Dinan to rezone property located on the south side of Pembroke, between Newburgh Road and Victor Parkway, in the S E. 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to RE (Rural Urban Farm One Family Residential-1/2 Acre Lot to Research-Engineering) . Petition 92-10-2-23, submitted by Stuart Frankel to rezone property located on the south side of Six Mile Road, between Fitzgerald Avenue and Newburgh Road, in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 17 from OS to C-2, P and AG (Office Services to General Business, Parking and General Agriculture). There were approximately 13 persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the of the City Clerk.
