lio MINUTES OF THE TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTIETH SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8, Chapter 14 of the City Charter,
the above meeting was held December 23, 1991 at the City Hall , 33000 Civic Center
Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of the Council
c at approximately 7.30 P.M. Roll was called with the following result: Present:
Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P. Feenstra and Joan McCotter; Absent: Laura
Toy, Dale Jurcisin (on vacation) and Ron Ochala.
Elected and appointed officials present: Cathryn Kerby White, Assistant
City Attorney; Robert D. Bennett, Mayor and John Nagy, City Planner.
On a motion by Councilman Feenstra, seconded by Councilman Taylor,
and unanimously adopted, it was

#988-91 RESOLVED, that having considered the report and
recommendation of the Committee of the Whole, dated December
23, 1991 , and submitted pursuant to Council Resolution 987-91 ,
in connection with a communication from the City Planning
Commission, dated December 4, 1991 , which transmits its resolution
12-188-91 , adopted on December 3, 1991 , with regard to Petition
86-4-8-25 submitted by Schostak Brothers & Co. , Inc. , requesting
approval of awnings and signage in connection with a proposal
to construct a mixed use development on the north side of Six
Mile Road between Newburgh Road and the 1-275 Freeway in Section
7, pursuant to the provisions set forth in Section 18.47 of
Ordinance No. 543, as amended, the Council does hereby approve
the awnings contained in the Revised Site Plan.
On a motion by Councilman Bishop, seconded by Councilman Taylor, and
unanimously adopted, this 220th Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Livonia
was duly adjourned at 7:33 P.M. , December 23, 1991 .
