MINUTES OF THE 211th SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On October 31, 1990, the above meeting was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8:00 P.M. Roll was called with the following result:
Present Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Dale Jurcisin, Ron Ochala, Fernon
P. Feenstra and Joan McCotter, Absent Laura Toy (out of town on business).
Elected and appointed officials present Robert F Nash, City Clerk,
Harry Tatigian, City Attorney, Robert D Bennett, Mayor, James Inglis, Director
of Housing, William Roskelly, Basney and Smith, Inc , Kurt Roskelly, Camborne
Construction Engineering, Inc and Angelo D'Orazio, Angelo D'Orazio Paving,
Inc.
On a motion by Councilman Jurcisin, seconded by Councilman Taylor,
and unanimously adopted, it was
#1005-90 RESOLVED, that having considered the report and
recommendation of the Capital Improvement Committee dated
October 29, 1990 and submitted pursuant to Council Resolution
1107-89 with regard to the proposed 120 unit Senior Citizen
Housing development on certain City -owned land located on
the West side of Newburgh Road between Amrhein Road and
Plymouth Road and having also considered reports and
recommendations from the Housing Director dated October
22, 1990 and October 30, 1990, approved for submission by
the Mayor to which are attached letters from Camborne
Construction Engineering, Inc , dated October 26, 1990 and
October 30, 1990, the Council does hereby approve the
following

On a motion by Councilman Jurcisin, seconded by Councilman Bishop,
and unanimously adopted, it was
11006-90 RESOLVED, that having considered the report and
recommendation of the Capital Improvement Committee dated
October 29, 1990 and submitted pursuant to Council Resolution
1107-89 with regard to the proposed 120 unit Senior Citizen
Housing development on certain City -owned land located on
the West side of Newburgh Road between Amrhein Road and
Plymouth Road and having also considered reports and
recommendations from the Housing Director dated October

preparation of specifications and thereafter the taking
of bids for ground construction and the construction of
roads for the proposed senior citizen housing complex in
accordance with provisions of law and City ordinance
On a motion by Councilman Ochala, seconded by Councilman Feenstra,
and unanimously adopted, this 211th Special Meeting of the Council of the City
of Livonia was adjourned at 8 04 P M , October 31, 1990
