MINUTES OF THE 205th SPECIAL 14EETING
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On January 10, 1990 the above meeting was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 7 45 P M Roll was called with the following result
Present Laura Toy, Robert R Bishop, Joan McCotter, Gerald Taylor, Dale Jurcisin
and Fernon P Feenstra, Absent Ron Ochala
Elected and appointed officials present Robert F Nash, City Clerk,
Harry Tatigian, City Attorney, Robert D Bennett, Mayor, John Nagy, Planning
Director, John Hill, Design Engineer, Ron Mardiros, City Assessor, Karen Szymula,
Director of Legislative Affairs, Suzanne Wisler, Director of Community Resources,
Barney Knorp, Fire Chief and George Sills, Superintendent of Public Service
Division
The following resolution was offered by Councilman Bishop
#1-90 RESOLVED, that Joan McCotter be declared to be President
of the Council for a two year period effective January 10,
1990 through December 31, 1991
A roll call vote was taken on the resolution offered by Councilman Bishop with
the following result
AYES Toy, Bishop, McCotter, Taylor, Jurcisin and Feenstra
NAYS None
The President declared the resolution adopted
The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman Toy
#2-90 RESOLVED, that Dale Jurcisin be declared to be Vice
President of the Council for a two year period effective
January 10, 1990 through December 31, 1991

the following result
AYES Toy, Bishop, MCCDtter, Taylor, JVrCisiD and Fe8n5trd.
NAYS: N0De,
The President declared the resolution adopted
Ms McCotter accepted the results of the election and the Presidency Of the
COUOCil,
Outgoing President, FernOn P FPenstra, presented the meeting gavel to the New
President
On a 0Ot1DO by Councilwoman Toy, seconded by Councilman Taylor, and
unanimously adopted, this 205[h Special Meeting Of the Council Of the City of
Livonia was adjourned at 7 50 P M , January 70' 1990
