MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 88-8-2-39
On December 12 , 1988 , the above hearing was held at the
City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was
called to order by the President of the Council at 7 : 16 p.m.
Present: Fernon P. Feenstra, Joan McCotter, *Laura Toy, Robert
R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Ron Ochala and Dale Jurcisin.
Absent: None.
*Arrived at 7 : 17 p.m.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of
Ordinance No. 543 , the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia,
and likewise pursuant to Notice of Public Hearing duly
published and sent to property owners in accordance with said
Ordinance No. 543 , the City Council is opening a public hearing
relative to a communication dated October 21 , 1988 , received
from Daniel M. Sandberg, Corporate Counsel for Meadowdale
Foods, Inc. , requesting waiver use approval to utilize SDD and
SDM licenses in conjunction with a new Great Scott! Supermarket
to be located within Northridge Commons Shopping Center on the
south side of Eight Mile Road between Farmington and Gill Roads
in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 4 .
There were approximately three people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given
due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 : 25 p.m. ,
December 12 , 1988.
