HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1989-01-11 PETITION 1988-07-01-21 24714 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On January 11, 1989, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 10:05 p.m. Present: Fernon P. Feenstra, Joan McCotter, Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Ron Ochala and Dale Jurcisin. Absent: None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act, (MSA 5.2934); MCLA 125.548), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 88-7-1-21, submitted by Franklin Laucomer for Esar Bachman and B. J. Wright for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Eight Mile Road between Farmington Road and Shadyside Avenue in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3, from M-1 to C-2 (Light Manufacturing to General Business) Petition 88-9-1-23, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Five Mile Road between Levan and Williams in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 17, from C-1 to P S. (Local Business to Professional Service) There were approximately 21 people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 11:10 p m , January 11, 1989. im. if4°1 ROBERT F NASH, CITY CLERK
