HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-12-02 PETITION 1987-07-01-27 23784 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On December 2, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 05 p m. Present McCotter, Feenstra, Bishop, Taylor, Bennett, Ochala, McCann Absent None Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA Section 5 2934,MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII imp of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 87-7-1-27, submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located between Five Mile Road and Roycroft, East of Farmington Road, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 15 from C-1, C-2, C-4, 8-1 and P.L to P S , P.O. and P.L (Local Business, General Business, High Rise Commercial - 4 stories, One Family Residential and Public Land to Professional Service, Professional Office High Rise 4 stories and Public Land. Petition 87-8-1-29^ submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located South of Eight Mile Road between Farmington Road and Osmus, in the North 1/2 of Section 3 from R-3A to RUF (One Family Residential 80' x 120' to Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential) . Petition 87-8-1-30, submitted by Giuliano Soave for a change of zoning of property located on the Northwest corner of Seven Mile and Gill Roads, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4 from RUFB to R-3 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to One Family Residential) Petition 87-8-1-31^ submitted by James Ballard for a change of zoning of proeprty located on the East side of Stark Road between Concord and Capitol in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 28 from R-5 to M-1 (One Family Residential to L Light Manufacturing) . 23785 There were approximately 40 people present Lir Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The public hearing was declared closed at 9 15 p m , December 2, 1987. ‘111 •4144111t A° ROBERT F NASH, CITY CLERK
