HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1988-03-16 PETITION 1987-12-01-39 24010 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS 0 _ On March 16, 1988, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:00 p m Present: Fernon P Feenstra, Joan McCotter, Laura Toy, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Ron Ochala and Dale Jurciaio, Absent: None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921^ as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S A Section 5 2934, MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is lio holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 87-12-1-39, submitted by Alan C Helmkamp, for a change of zoning of property located on the Southwest corner of Eight Mile Road and Meadowview Lane in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to P S (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Professional Service) Petition 87-12-1-41 , as amended, submitted by U S Homes for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Merriman Road between Eight Mile and Norfolk Avenue in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3, from RUFA to R-2 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to One Family Residential) Petition 87-12-1-40^ submitted by David R Olah for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Newburgh Road between Ann Arbor Trail and Joy Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31 from BOF to R-7 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Multiple Family Residential) There were approximately 43 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due con- sideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
