HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-07-20 PETITION 1987-03-01-16 23536 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On July 20, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7 21 p.m Present Gerald Taylor, Joan McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert R Bishop, Robert D. Bennett, Ron Ochala Absent Robert E McCann Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The Vice President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as liramended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934,MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 87-3-1-16 submitted by Herrel F Sutton for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Angeline Avenue, east of Edington in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 33 from RUF to R-1A (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to One Family Residential) Petition 87-4-1-17 submitted by Joseph Dettore for United Construction, Inc to rezone property located south of Eight Mile Road between Merriman and Milburn in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 2 from RUFA to R-9 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Housing for the Elderly) . There were approximately 25 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the lb. office of the City Clerk The public hearing was declared closed at 7 58 p m , July 20, 1987 ROBERT F NASH, CITY CLERK
