HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-08-26 SAD CURTIS 23571 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE STREET IMPROVEMENT OF CURTIS AVENUE (WEST OF MERRIMAN) lie IN THE EAST 1/2 OF SECTION 10 On August 26, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8*52 p.m. Present: Robert E. McCann, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Robert D. Bennett, Ron Ochala. Absent: Joan McCotter. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the street improvement of Curtis Avenue (West of Merriman) in the East 1/2 of Section 10. There were approximately 20 people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
