HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-07-08 PETITION 1987-03-01-15 23498 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On July 8, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 8 56 p m Present Joan McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert R Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett, Ron Ochala. Absent: Robert E. McCann. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934, MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 87-3-1-15, submitted by Ted Zuchlewski for Simoni Associates, Inc. for a change of zoning of property located on the West side of 1611 Farmington Road, North of Seven Mile Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 4 from RUFC to C-2 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to General Business) . Petition 87-4-1-18, submitted by Anthony C Rea, for a change of zoning of property located on the northeast corner of Wayne Road and Ann Arbor Trail in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 33 from C-1 to C-2 (Local Business to General Business) Petition 87-3-1-13, submitted by S EMM G Company for a change of zoning of property lcoated on the south side of Seven Mile Road, west of Stamford in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9 from R-3 to R-2 and C-1 (One Family Residential to One Family Residential and Local Business) There were approximately 20 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The public hearing was declared closed at 9 55 p m , July 8, 1987 .14fri-eitrzottel ROBERT F NASH, CITY CLERK
