HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-05-13 PETITION 1987-01-01-05 23369 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A ZONING PETITION On May 13, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 L Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 11 p m. Present; Joan McCotter, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop, Ron Ochala and Robert E. McCann. Absent; Gerald Taylor, Robert D. Bennett. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of the Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934;MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance i 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia the Council of the City of mm Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 87-1-1-5, submitted by Angelo DiPonio for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Newburgh Road, north of Seven Mile Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 5 from RUFC to R-3C (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to One Family Residential) There were approximately ten people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
