VD May 20, 2015 The meeting was called to order on May 20, 2015 at the Alexander Blue House at 6.30 p m Present: Ken Bourgon, Deanna Brown, Mary Cambridge,Sue Daniel, Nancy Frye, Barbara Mansfield, Gary Pritchard,Sandi Pritchard and Linda Trewin. Also present: Linda Wiacek and Boy Scout Teague Beauchamp Scout Beauchamp presented his project to replace wire fencing along Victor Parkway just south of Joshua Simmons Drive. The February 18, 2015 and March 25,2015 minutes were approved as written. Mary Cambridge presented the March,2015 and April, 2015 Treasurer's reports,which were placed on file. Linda Wiacek reported: Shaw roof replacement is to be finished. The Meeting House upper roof is to be started: both projects being done by Buckmaster Contracting Company, Inc. The Hill House is set up for the tour season. The Lincoln Funeral Luncheon had a surprise guest-Abe Lincoln! The volunteer surveys are out; not many have been returned. We had ten new volunteers at the Volunteer Orientation. The Flea Market is sold out. Bongero Construction Company is finished with the fence for this year, we should be all set for 2016. Eagle Scout projects at Greenmead include- three-board fence, wire farm fence along Victor Parkway,trellis walkway, white picket fence along Victor Parkway,an Excel graph will be done of the Livonia Center Cemetery to keep track of who is buried there A meeting was , held with St.Andrew's Society,the Livonia Police Department and Greenmead staff for the Highland Games on July 3l and August l We should have tickets by June 15t-there is a small increase in the cost. Project assistance has gone out for the Flea Market. The Friends of Greennnead have had the pond rebuilt;the fountain still needs to be installed. Motion: 05'01 It was moved by Sandi Pritchard and seconded by Mary Cambridge to propose a small increase to the 2015-2016 Special Activity Historical Commission Budget#101-893-886-737 Total proposed budget is$6,200.00. Motion carried Motion. 05-02 It was moved by Linda Trewin and seconded by Ken Bourgon to renew the dues for the Livonia Historical Commission members to the Livonia Historical Society for 2015-2016. Motion carried. Motion. 05-03 It was moved by Ken Bourgon and seconded by Sandi Pritchard to allocate payment of up to$9,000.00,from Account#723-000-931-000,for work to be done on the Shaw House roof Motion. 05-04 It was moved by Barbara Mansfield and seconded by Nancy Frye to approve up to $200.00,from Account#723-000-931-000,for shades and curtains for the second floor of the Kingsley House.
