HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-03-23 PETITION 1986-11-01-48 23236 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On March 23, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 iwo Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 45 p.m Present Robert E. McCann, Joan McCotter, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R Bishop, Gerald Taylor and Ron Ochala. Absent Robert D Bennett Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordi- nance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934, MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of 110 Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 86-11-1-48, submitted by Melvin Borin for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Middlebelt Road, north of Joy Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 36 from RUF to C-1 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Local Business) Petition 86-12-1-50, submitted by Thomas W Kurmas & Associates for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road between Angling and Lathers in the southeast 1/4 of Section 1 from RUF, P.S. & P to C-1 (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential, Professional Service and Parking to Local Business) Petition 86-12-1-52, submitted by L & H Associates for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Farmington Road, north of Schoolcraft in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 22 from RUF to P S (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Professional Service) . There were approximately 20 people present Lim Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
