HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1987-01-26 PETITION 1986-09-01-39 23116 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On January 26, 1987, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 00 p m Present: Joan McCotter, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert R. Bishop, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett, Ron Ochala and Robert E. McCann Absent None. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934,MCLA 125 594) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the Zoning Ordinance Petition 86-9-1-39, submitted by Westin Development Company for a change of zoning of property located on the South side of Five Mile Road, East of Bainbridge in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 23 from M-1 and RUF to C-2 (Light Manufacturing and Rural Urban Farm - One Family Resi- dential to General Business) . Petition 86-11-1-45, submitted by Donald Colone for Westin Develop- ment Company for a change of zoning of property located on the East side of Bainbridge, south of Five Mile Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 23, from RUF to P (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Parking) Petition 86-10-1-44, submitted by Centrum Development Company for a change of zoning of property located south of Jamison, west of Sunbury in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 24 from P L to R-9I (Public Lands to Housing for the Elderly - 4 stories) . _ _ _ 23117 Petition 86-9-1-40, submitted by Mary Omar for a change of zoning of property located on the North side of Schoolcraft Road between Newburgh imw Road and Richfield in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19 from RUF to P S (Rural Urban Farm - One Family Residential to Professional Service) . There were approximately 30 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The public hearing was declared closed at 11:08 p.m. , January 26, 1987.
