MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
liw On February 19, 1986^ the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8;05 p.m. Present. Robert R. Bishop, Joan
McCotter, Fernon P. Feenstra, Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Robert D.
Bennett and Ron Ochala. Absent: None
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior
to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed
change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set
forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921 , as
amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934;MCLA 125.584) , as well as Article XXIII
L of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council
of the City of Livonia iebol6io8 a public hearing relative to a request for
a change of the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No. 85-11-1-35, as amended, submitted by Charles Tangora
for Victor International for a change of zoning of property located on the
East side of 1-96/1-275 Freeway between Seven and Eight Mile Roads in
Section 6, from RUFC to C-4III, P0-III and P0 (Rural Urban Farm-One Family
Residential to High Rise Commerciul-12 stories and High-Rise Professional
0ffice-12 stories and High-Rise Professional Office-4 stories) .
There were approximately 25 people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 13;05 a.m. , February
19, 1986.
