HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1985-11-18 PETITION 1985-08-01-02 22098 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS limOn November 18, 1985, the above hearing was at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 00 p m Present Robert R Bishop, Robert E McCann, Fernon P Feenstra, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett and Peter A Ventura Absent Alice Gundersen Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (MSA 5 2934, MCLA 125 584) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of the lim Zoning Ordinance Petition No 85-8-1-2 submitted by Krsto Djordjevic for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Middlebelt between West Chicago and Joy Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 36 from P S to C-3 (Professional Service to Highway Service) Petition No 85-8-1-23 submitted by Robert Rainko for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Farmington Road, south of Eight Mile Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 3 from R-3A to P (One Family Residential to Parking) Petition No 85-8-1-21 submitted by Joseph and Esther Crenshaw for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Seven Mile Rd between Middlebelt and Inkster Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 1 from C-1 (Local Business) and R-1 (One Family Residential) to C-2 (General Business) Petition No 85-8-6-4 submitted by the City Planning Commission to amend Section 9 05 of Zoning Ordinance #543 relating to side yard requirements in the waiver use section of the P S Zoning Districts There were approximately 60 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City imi, Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.25 p m , November 18, 1985 „,6;1441")5A.Adile Robert F Nash, City Clerk
