HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1985-06-03 PETITION 1985-02-01-05 21688 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On June 3, 1985, the above hearing was held at the City Hall , 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan , and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 00 p m. Present Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann, Fernon Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert D. Bennett, Gerald Taylor and Peter A. Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921 , as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council for the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 85-2-1-5, submitted by Michigan Columbus Federal Credit Union for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Six Mile Road, west of Henry Ruff in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 14 from RUFC to P (Rural Urban Farm-One Family Residential to Parking) . Petition No. 85-3-1-9, submitted by Michael Schwartz for United Homes, Inc. , for a change of zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Hix Road and Northfield Avenue in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 31 from RUF to R-1 (Rural Urban Farm-One Family Residential to One Family Residential ) . 21689 Petition No. 85-2-1-8, submitted by Weatherford/Walker Development for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Plymouth Road between Middlebelt and Sears Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 26 from M-1 to C-2 (Light Manufacturing to General Business) . Petition No. 85-2-1-6, submitted by Arthur E. & Eugene F. Pulice for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Hubbard Road, north of Five Mile Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 15 from R-1 and P to P.S. (One Family Residential and Parking to Professional Service) . Petition No. 85-2-1-7, submitted by Jan A. Buedel for Taco Bell for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington Road, south of Seven Mile Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9 from R-3 to P (One Family Residential to Parking) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 05 p.m. , June 3, 1985. k"-A14/ R BERT F.
