HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1985-10-28 PETITION 1985-07-01-20 22062 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A ZONING PETITION lir On October 28, 1985, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7.40 P.M. Present Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett and Peter A. Ventura. Absent: None. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (msA 5.293)4, MCLA 125.584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change of zoning. Petition 85-7-1-20 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Beatrice Avenue, north of Schoolcraft in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23 from C-1 to R-1 (Local business to One Family Residential). There were approximately 20 people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
