HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1984-05-01 EDC THE GROSSMAN COMPANY 20878 MINUTES OF HEARING ON PROJECT PLAN OF THE GROSSMAN COMPANY RECOMMENDED BY THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF LIVONIA On May 1, 1984, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9.23 P.M. Present : Gerald Taylor, Robert E McCann, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert D. Bennett and Peter A. Ventura Absent: Robert R. Bishop The Vice President stated that this is a public hearing on the question of whether this City Council should approve the Project Plan rec- commended by the Economic Development Corporation of the City of Livonia consisting of the acquisition and renovation of a 77,600 square foot single story industrial warehouse facility to be owned by The Grossman Company, to be leased to General Fasteners, Inc to be located on Lot 7 of the Globe Industrial Subdivision, 11820 Globe Road, Livonia, Michigan 48150. There were approximately four persons present. The public hearing consisted of questions and comments from interested persons which were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
