HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1984-07-09 PETITION 1984-08-01-17 20122 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On July 9, 1984, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 06 P.M Present. Robert R Bishop, Robert E McCann, Fernon P Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett and Peter A Ventura Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition 84-8-1-17, as amended, submitted by the Apostolic Christian Church for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Wentworth Avenue, west of Middlebelt in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14 from RUF and P L to P S (Rural Urban Farm-One Family Residential and Public Land to Professional Service) Petition 84-4-1-12 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road, east of Gill Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 4, from R-1 to R-2 (One Family Residential 60' x 120' to One Family Residential 70' x 120' ) Petition 84-4-1-13 submitted by Robert Weingrot for United Rent-All for a change of zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Middlebelt and Morlock in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2 from M-1 and C-1 to C-2 (Light Industrial and Local Business to General Business) Petition 84-3-6-3 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend Section 18 50 (f) of Ordinance 543 relating to sign regulations in industrial districts The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 45 P.M , July 9, 1984 ERT F NASH, CITY CTRRK
