HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1984-01-09 NECESSITY COVENTRY GARDENS 20674 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF COVENTRY GARDENS AND COVENTRY WOODS SUBDIVISION IN THE EAST 1/4 OF SECTION 16 On January 9, 1984, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 15 P.M. Present• Robert R Bishop, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Gerald Taylor, Robert D Bennett, and Mer A Ventura Absent Robert E. McCann The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street improvement of Coventry Gardens and Coventry Woods Subdivision in the East 1/4 of Section 16, City of Livonia There were approximately seventy-five people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
