HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1983-05-02 PETITION 1983-01-01-02 20316 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On May 2, 1983, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 00 P.M. Present Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert D Bennett and Mer A Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 83-1-1-2, submitted by Parkside Credit Union for a change of lit zoning of property located on the North side of Van Court Avenue between Raleigh and Levan Road in the North 1/2 of Section 12 from RUF to P (Rural Urban Farms to Parking). Petition No. 83-1-1-3, submitted by George & Rose Gargarian for a change of zoning of Property located on the West side of Middlebelt Road, North of Six Mile Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 11, from P.S. to C-2 (Professional Service to General Business ). Petition No. 83-2-1-5, submitted by Carrollton Arms for a change of zoning of property located on the North side of Seven Mile Road, East of Farmington Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 3 from R-2A to R-7 (One Family Residential to Multiple Family Residential).
