HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1983-05-02 NECESSITY FLAMINGO AVE 20317 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT low OF FLAMINGO AVENUE IN THE N.W. 1/4 OF SECTION 23 On May 2, 1983, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9:19 P.M. Present: Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert D. Bennett and Peter A. Ventura. Absent: None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improve- ments, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street improvement of Flamingo, between Lyndon and Nye, located in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 23, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately 15 people present. Questions and answers from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
