HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1983-06-08 PETITION 1983-03-01-07 20388 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On June 8, 1983, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.19 P.M. Present. Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R Bishop and Robert D. Bennett. Absent. Peter A. Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15 ) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.293)-I.), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 83-3-1-7, submitted by Commonwealth Rentals Partnership & Rams Horn of Livonia for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Middlebelt and Morlock in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2 from C-1 to C-2 (Local Business to General Business ) Petition 83-3-1-8, submitted by Yingsan Chen and Ho Chuan Chen for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Middlebelt, south of Greenland Avenue in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, from RU F to P.S (Rural Urban Farm to Professional Service).
