MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On February 7, 1983, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 9:53 P.M. Present. Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor,
Fernon P Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R Bishop, Robert D Bennett and
Peter A Ventura Absent None.
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior
to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed
change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the
Zoning Act (M.S A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543,
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia
is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning
Ordinance
Petition No 82-10-6-5, submitted by the City Planning Commission on
its own motion to amend Section 19.06 (General Waiver Requirements and General
Standards), so as to incorporate additional site plan standards pursuant to the
requirements of State law
Petition No 82-10-6-6, submitted by the City Planning Commission,
on its own motion to amend Section 10 03 and 11 03 so as to require waiver use
approval for SDM Licensed establishments in C-1 and C-2 Zoning Districts
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10.02 P.M., February 7,
1983.
