Im. MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On September 27, 1982, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 7.08 P M Present Robert E McCann, Gerald Taylor,
Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15 ) days prior
to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed
change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set
forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as
amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 293)-i-), as well as Article XXIII of
Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of
the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a
change in the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 82-7-1-9, submitted by Laurence S Balauch to rezone
property located on the south side of Schoolcraft Service Drive between Merriman
Road and Hubbard in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 27, from M-2 to C-3 (General
Manufacturing to Highway Services)
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 .05 P.M
