HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1982-09-20 PETITION 1982-04-01-08 20015 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS LIF On September 20, 1982, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9:40 P M. . Present. Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert D Bennett. Absent: Peter A. Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No 82-4-1-8 submitted by D W. Thomas for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Schoolcraft Road, east of Eckles Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 19, from C-4 to M-1 (High Rise Commercial District to Light Manufacturing District) . Petition No. 82-6-6-3, submitted by the City Planning Commission, on its own motion to amend Section 18 58 of Zoning Ordinance #543, Mechanical Amusement Devices, to amend the regulations pertaining to video games as accessory uses Petition No 82-6-6-2, submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion, to amend Section 2.10 of Zoning Ordinance #543, so as to amend the definition of Mechanical amusement devices to coincide with the definition set forth in the Livonia Code of Ordinances.
