MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 82-8-2-21 (Waiver Use)
On November 10, 1982, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 7 09 P M Present Robert E McCann, Gerald
Taylor, Fernon P Feenstra, Robert R Bishop, Robert D Bennett and Peter
A Ventura Absent Alice Gundersen
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant
to Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in
accordance with said Ordinance No 543, the City Council is opening a public
hearing relative to a use permit submitted by Arbor Drugs requesting a
waiver use approval to utilize an SDD Liquor License within an existing
business located within the shopping center located at the southwest corner
of Five Mile and Middlebelt Roads in Section 23, as a waiver use on property
zoned C-2.
There were approximately fourteen people present
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7.36 P M.
