HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1982-09-20 NECESSITY FLAMINGO 20012 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF FLAMINGO AVENUE FROM SEVEN MITE TO PEMBROKE IN SECTION 2 On September 20, 1982, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:03 P. M. . Present Robert E. McCann, Gerald Taylor, Fernon P. Feenstra, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Peter A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improve- ments, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street improvement on Flamingo Avenue from Seven Mile to Pembroke, in the S.W 1/4 of Section 2, City of Livonia, Michigan There were approximately seventy people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
