HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1981-12-14 NECESSITY GREENLAND 19660 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GREENLAND, FROM MIDDTFBELT TO HENRY RUFF AND HENRY RUFF FROM GREENLAND TO PURITAN On December 14, 1981, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9:26 P. M . Present Robert D. Bennett, Gerald Taylor, Alice Gundersen, Robert R. Bishop, Robert E. McCann and Peter A Ventura. Absent: Robert F. Nash The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improve- ments, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the proposed street improvement of Greenland, from Middlebelt to Henry Ruff and Henry Ruff from Greenland to Puritan in Section 14, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately forty people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10.00 P M , December 14, 1981. ADDISON W. BACON, Try<
